Wyomountaincurs has been breeding OMCBA Mountain Curs here in Wyoming for more than 10 years. I all started for me more than 15 years ago when when I was running hounds. Hounds were good at what they did but were not a good fit for me as I wanted more than a specific tool. I got my first OMCBA Cur after waiting a year and a half for a pup. He turned out to be the best dog and breed choice I could have made. He is the brindle in the two picture's below. He has produced dogs that exceed the owners expectations. His blood is still producing great dogs. The Curs were a better fit, not just in my hunting but life in general. They shift to whatever I am doing, whether it's running Lion or Bobcat, to trapping, backpacking, fishing or just hanging around the house. They have the brains to learn more than just one thing. I breed a bigger dog for running Cats, bigger head and broader nose. I also breed for dogging Coyotes, they are smaller than the average cat dog but still a tracking dog just suited better for Coyotes. Some of the guys that I have sold decoy dogs to and hear back from say that they are the best.
